What is Line-X Xtra?
Line-X Xtra is a high performance three-component urethane topcoat designed through a cooperative research and development effort between Line-X Corporation and DuPont Performance Coatings. Line-X Xtra urethane topcoat is applied over Line-X 100 series base material, during the primary application process. Line-X Xtra urethane topcoat is formulated with DuPont™ Kevlar® micro pulp, which is incorporated into the binder/resin system. A urethane activator and accelerator are added to this product to produce a composite coating.

Why was Line-X Xtra developed?
In some rare cases, two to four years after the spray-on application, the color begins to fade. Recently, in an effort to resolve this ongoing issue within the coating industry, Line-X and DuPont Performance Coatings developed a partnership and produced the new product, Line-X Xtra. Line-X Xtra offers an ultra-violet (UV) urethane topcoat that will protect and maintain that “new gloss” appearance for the discriminate truck owner.

Does Line-X Xtra replace Line-X?
No, Line-X Xtra does not replace Line-X. Line-X Xtra is a high performance urethane topcoat that is applied  in combination with the Line-X base material during the spray-on application process.

What's the difference between Line-X and Line-X Xtra?
The Line-X Spray-On Coating is the base spray-on material and Line-X Xtra is a 3-component urethane composite topcoat, applied over the Line-X base product. It’s the new benchmark in truck accessory protection.

What are the components within Line-X Xtra?
There are three components associated with the Line-X Xtra product offering.
1. LX-1000 Black Urethane Topcoat, formulated with DuPont™ Kevlar®
2. LX-15A Activator
3. LX-4AC Accelerator
